Our experience with North Atlantic has been positive all around. From our first meeting with owner Pete Berke, to the reasonable pricing, ultimately the final exterior painting job, and follow up support, we are very pleased. We manage a large farm/estate, and this is our first year working with North Atlantic. We have had a long list of projects that our crew had not been able to complete (exterior trim repair, deck staining, building painting, building washing, etc.). They came in and performed multiple carpentry and painting tasks quickly, professionally, and of the highest quality. We have worked with many contractors over the years, and they are certainly among the best! Peter, Nicole, Ian, Dave, and the entire crew are amazing at communicating and getting the job done! We will certainly have a relationship with them for many years to come, and cannot thank them enough for their services.

In Midcoast Maine, I would not trust any other building project to any other business other than North Atlantic Painting & Builders, We just completed our third project with North Atlantic. We've now repainted our house, fixed our kitchen, built a new sunroom, screened-in porch, apartment above our garage, and now an ultimate "Wellness Room/Office" for me. The quality and professionalism that North Atlantic demonstrates is unmatched -- and goes throughout their entire team.

North Atlantic undertook an extensive remodeling project at our new home. The carpenters and painters were all skilled and very professional. Quality of their work was excellent. The subs (electrical, plumbing, cabinets, tile, etc.) were all excellent and well-managed by Peter and Nicole. We love our home and couldn't be happier! Also, Peter is a "wicked nice" guy and was great to collaborate with.

I contracted with North Atlantic Painting to repaint the trim and wood gutters of our house. Also to refinish our Black Locust wood deck. The hardwood deck was particularly challenging because it was so severely weathered.

The crew was headed up by Ian, a most professional and polite person. He listened to my concerns and accommodated therm where possible. The whole crew was great. They were neat, precise and did an excellent paint job on the trim and gutters.

Because of its condition the hardwood deck required a lot of work. After stripping and brightening the wood, it was hand sanded. Then a transparent stain recommended by North Atlantic was applied and rubbed in. A second coat of stain was applied a few months later. The deck came out beautiful! Better than I would have ever thought.

Nicole, who was my main contact at the front office, was always wanting to accommodate and quick to respond to any concerns I had. She was knowledgable in all aspects of my job making things run smoothly.

I had never used North Atlantic Painting. Initially, I spoke with Peter, the owner. Easy to talk to and listened to my thoughts on the job. He freely made recommendations on my project. I liked his thoughts of how to deal with the severely weathered deck. He reassured me I would be happy with the results. This is why I chose Peter and North Atlantic.

Exterior painting, Wood staining

Ian, Dave and Troy just finished a 2 1/2 week project repainting all our exterior siding and trim(including massive amounts of soffits) They were professional, effcient and extreamly careful with clean up and hitting all areas. A great job that we are very pleased with!!!

The painters, Ian, Dave and Troy, did a wonderful job and we really appreciated how accommodating and pleasant they all were. They all went above and beyond to make sure that we were completely satisfied when the job was finished.

The folks at North Atlantic Painting did an extensive renovation of a house we purchased last year. This included painting the interior, new siding/ soffits and windows, new entry porch, and numerous interior modifications and structural fixes. We were very happy with all of the work and they are a pleasure to work with. We recommend them highly.

Ian and crew were so considerate and did a wonderful job. They listened and communicated every day. My house hasn't looked this good since it was built and I can't recommend them highly enough. I am not easily impressed, but they certainly made me a fan.

We are in the process of planning to have the exterior of our house in Camden repainted. Choosing the company to do the work was easy: North Atlantic. Why? Because North Atlantic did an excellent with our last repainting many years ago. Their high standards for quality, including thorough, expert preparation, and execution of final topcoat. In addition, they were easy to work with and helped us save money by using flexible strategies on facades that were less damaged by sun and moisture.
