CAMDEN—The Annual Meeting of West Bay Rotary Club was held Monday, June 30, 2014 at the Samoset Resort in Rockport, where the Camden and Rockland clubs also held annual dinners in separate dining rooms. The three clubs and their guests enjoyed cocktails together before attending their dinners. 75 attended the West Bay dinner.
West Bay Rotary inducted as President Tim Dresser for the coming year, after thanking the immediate Past President Jane Lafleur for her year of exemplary leadership. Other members also recognized for their service included Mark Masterson, Rotarian of the Year, and the club awarded Paul Harris Fellows to Sandy Cox, Peter Berke and Mark Masterson. In attendance was District 7790 Governor Steve Johnson.
West Bay Rotary Club meets weekly at the First Congregational Church on Route 1 in Camden from 7:15a – 8:30 each Thursday. Located in Rotary District 7790, the club has been meeting and providing opportunities for community service and fellowship for over 25 years.
